Turning Pages

Turning Pages is a book club for female inmates at the Lancaster County Detention Center. Westminster members facilitate this group of usually 10-16 inmates, meeting once a quarter for four weeks on Monday nights from 6:30– 7:30 PM.

A wide variety of books are read, with titles suggested by volunteers and inmates. Members do not need to commit to attend every meeting. A background check and a short training session at the County Jail is required before volunteering. Contact:Deb Schorr
