Giving Commitment

Generosity and the Joy of Giving

GIVE ONLINE BY CLICKING HERE

As members of Westminster and the Presbyterian Church USA, we are called by God to support the congregational life and ministries of the church and do so with gratitude for God’s abundant love and the blessings we have already received. As we come together and form a new shared vision for the future of our church, our collective generosity will determine our ability to maximize that vision. Please consider these giving opportunities every year: Special Gifts, Fundraisers & Sponsorships, Non-Pledge Giving, Sunday Worship Offering, Pledge Giving & The Per Capita Connection.

2020 Giving Commitment

The Giving Commitment with a financial pledge forms the cornerstone of how we plan and operate each year. This year’s message is to consider The Power of TEN in your giving. In addition to being the percent of the tithe… giving 10% of your household income to God through the ministry and mission of Westminster… the number also appears 242 times in the Bible. And now we are asking every member to embrace the Power of Ten in your giving plan in one of these ways:

Increase your Giving by 10% for the Year, Increase your Giving by $10 each Week, Increase your Giving by $10 each Month.

Pass It On . . . With Glee

CLICK HERE to read the sermon preached at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, Nebraska by Rev. Dr Jimmy Shelbourn on November 3, 2019   All Saints’ Sunday. 2 Corinthians 9:6-15;   Luke 19:1-10

In scripture, 2 Corinthians 9:9 reminds us “God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly.”

That’s the essence. God has already blessed us and now calls us to give back generously for the blessings we have already received. How will you respond? How will you step up your giving commitment and embrace The Power of TEN?
