Ladies’ Night Out

Church Building Closed
The church will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th as we celebrate Juneteenth. Juneteenth is the oldest-known celebration marking the end of slavery in the United States, first recognized by the state of Texas. It is also known as “Freedom Day,” “Juneteenth National Independence Day,” or “Emancipation Day.”

Prairie Readers will meet Wednesday, June 26. This is a week after our usual meeting on the third Wednesday of the month because the church will be closed that day as we celebrate Juneteenth. We will meet at 1 PM in the lounge. Dale Minter will lead the discussion of "Memphis" by Tara M. Stringfellow.
