Westminster Family and Friends,

As the Coronavirus crisis shifts into unchartered territory we want to be cautious and on the side of care and concern for all people. Therefore, we are not having in-person worship until further notice. We will be videotaping the service and it will be available on the web site for everyone to view. Go to Westminster Presbyterian Lincoln Website and click on worship and then YouTube Sermon Videos.

All group meetings are temporarily cancelled from Parents Night Out, Forum, Bible Study, Prairie Readers, Sausage Egg and Scripture, History Buffs. This is in an attempt to protect the most vulnerable and decrease the spread of the virus. Please pray for all who are at risk, who are affected by this situation either medically or financially or work related. We are in this together and with God’s grace we will emerge with hope and strength.

As we move through these challenging days, we are reminded that God does not leave us or forsake us – regardless. Our call is to be faithful in caring for one another and trust in what we believe and that is our faith is always stronger than our fear.

As Christ followers, we are called for such a time as this to reach out by phone or text message to one who may need a listening ear, or may need assistance for food or other essential supplies. Our youth leader, Devon Nelson has agreed that he is willing to be the driver for anyone needing medication or food or other essentials. You would need to call the church 402-475-6702 and request a currier (Devon) and he will pick up groceries or medication and deliver to your home.

If you know of someone who may be alone, now is the time to reach out and check in. We are in this together. We need the love and support of each other. Worship will again be virtual this Sunday on our Website via YouTube, or televised on Spectrum channel 1302 and Windstream channel 13 at 12:30 pm on Thursday and 1:00 PM on Saturday.

The church office is closed and all meetings cancelled.
