Upcoming Music Making Opportunities
Greetings from your music staff! We hope that you find yourself immersed in relaxing, meaningful, and joyful activities this summer. Summer can be a great time to explore, so we have created five opportunities to step out of your comfort zone and experience new ways of participating in worship at Westminster. To join in these events, simply show up in the sanctuary at 9:30 AM and we will prepare an easy piece of music to be presented at the 10:30 AM worship. All ages and musical experiences welcome for each event, and we encourage new friends to join in the fun!
Ukulele Jam | Sunday, August 26
You may have read that Westminster acquired a new set of ukuleles last Spring, and we want to put them to good use! Join our Alleluia! Amen! director Kaitlyn Beck for an introductory ukulele experience. Children and adults alike are invited to learn a few simple chords to create a beautiful piece of music for worship. If you already own a ukulele, you are welcome to bring your own, but we should have plenty to go around to those who are new to the instrument!
