Sue Kohles, Coordinator of Prairie Pines Partners, will tell the remarkable story of a row crop farm that transitioned to raising Christmas trees and then became Nebraska’s First conservation easement, to be “protected forever as a place that would provide a pleasant habitat for all beings–plant and animal.”
Interestingly, a Westminster family was part of this history! Sue’s presentation will include a brief tour of this hidden gem, and you are welcome to stay for more exploration on your own.
