The B17 Bomber.
“Used primarily in Europe during WWII, the b17 was known more famously as the Flying Fortress. Capable of flying long distances with a heavy payload, the b17 would forever change the face of warfare. The “Strategic Bombing” campaigns in which it was used represented a radical departure from more the traditional methods of waging war. The presentation is based upon the experiences of Lt. Wendell Larson; a 20 year-old navigator who flew 35 mission over Europe during the War.”
