Music Making Opportunities
Greetings from your music staff! We hope that you find yourself immersed in relaxing, meaningful, and joyful activities this summer. Summer can be a great time to explore, so we have created five opportunities to step out of your comfort zone and experience new ways of participating in worship at Westminster. To join in these events, simply show up in the sanctuary at 9:30 AM and we will prepare an easy piece of music to be presented at the 10:30 AM worship. All ages and musical experiences welcome for each event, and we encourage new friends to join in the fun!
Justice Choir | Sunday, September 2
Participate in a mixed choir experience over the Labor Day weekend! Men, women, children and youth are all invited to join in a pick-up choir over the holiday weekend. We will learn a piece from the Justice Choir Songbook. Founded in 2017, “Justice Choir is a template to encourage more group singing for social and environmental justice… to engage in the empathetic, collaborative and collective power of singing together to create change.”
