Confirmation Class Parents & Youth,
If you are a youth entering 8th or 9th grade this fall we invite you to join our confirmation class.
Confirmation calls youth to make a personal and public response to the love of God shown forth in their baptismal covenant. In Confirmation, confirmands are asked to commit themselves to Jesus Christ and to affirm their intention to live out their faith as part of a faith community. At Westminster, confirmation is a one year commitment from September to spring, meeting weekly on Sunday at 10:45 am. The class is designed for ninth grade students. The curriculum is “Professing Our Faith,” a PC(USA) curriculum.
We will meet with parents and students on Sunday, September 8th and confirmation will begin weekly on September 15th at 10:40 following the worship service. Call the church office if you plan to participate in confirmation: 402-475-6702.
