Westminster Presbyterian Church Children & Youth Ministry

WPC Children & Youth Ministry

Welcome to Westminster Presbyterian’s Children & Youth page. We are glad you found us. Here at WPC, our aim is to create a place where our children learn they are loved by God and the people of God; to teach Bible stories in memorable and positive ways so that they become life-long lessons, developing in meaning as each student grows; and to help our children and youth grow deep spiritual roots.

However you define family, you are welcome in ours. Throughout the year, Westminster sponsors a variety of family activities. You are invited to join in any or all of these activities to have fun and build lasting relationships. To learn more about our current Sunday and Wednesday children’s offerings, email Trish Souliere, our Director of Children and Youth Ministries. Email Trish at trish@westminsterlincoln.org. At WPC, you and your kids matter to us at every age.

Sundays at WPC | 10:00 AM-11:00 AM
We offer child care for children preschool age and younger in the nursery. The nursery is located on the second floor by the east entrance and is available from 9:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

Children of all ages are always welcome in “big church” any time. We have special worship activity bags available at the entrance to the sanctuary.

W3 (Welcome to Westminster on Wednesdays)
5:30 PM–8:00 PM
Wednesday nights are a great opportunity for kids to get together with their friends and have fun learning about God. Kids from 1st grade through 5th grade are invited to enjoy activities designed to help them understand how deep God’s love is for them.

We welcome kids from grades 6-12 to take part in Youth Group activities on Wednesday evenings and selected Sundays. On Wednesdays, the Youth Group meets for fellowship, to study the Bible, and to discuss how we as Christians should approach and deal with issues in our lives. The Youth Group at Westminster is a safe, affirming space for spiritual development, informed education and community engagement for our youth.

Activities are available for preschool children on Wednesdays with advance notice. Let Trish know by email trish@westminsterlincoln.org or by phone or text at 402-570-0163 by 5:00 PM on Tuesday to make arrangements.
