DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY ADULT BIBLE STUDY \nJoin us any Sunday in September | Parlor | 9 AM \nWhether you study the Bible daily\, or just feel compelled to pick it up now and then\, this class is for you. Beginning September 2\, we will explore texts in the Fall lectionary. Who knows\, you may study a text at 9 am that is being used that day in worship. Our goal is to become immersed in the books of the Bible. No text needed other than the Bible. You may want to bring a notebook if you are a notetaker. September and October lessons will focus on Mark’s Gospel\, the first of the gospels written. \n  \nCoffee and donut holes are waiting along with a friendly\, spirit-filled group of friends. \nSeptember 9:  “New Wine in Old Wine-skins”\, Mark 1:16-3:12.

DESCRIPTION:Music Making Opportunities \nGreetings from your music staff! We hope that you find yourself immersed in relaxing\, meaningful\, and joyful activities this summer. Summer can be a great time to explore\, so we have created five opportunities to step out of your comfort zone and experience new ways of participating in worship at Westminster. To join in these events\, simply show up in the sanctuary at 9:30 AM and we will prepare an easy piece of music to be presented at the 10:30 AM worship. All ages and musical experiences welcome for each event\, and we encourage new friends to join in the fun! \n  \nJustice Choir | Sunday\, September 2 \nParticipate in a mixed choir experience over the Labor Day weekend! Men\, women\, children and youth are all invited to join in a pick-up choir over the holiday weekend. We will learn a piece from the Justice Choir Songbook. Founded in 2017\, “Justice Choir is a      template to encourage more group singing for social and environmental justice… to engage in the empathetic\, collaborative and collective power of singing together to create change.” \n  \n  \n
