DESCRIPTION:FOOD! FELLOWSHIP! FUN!\n\nThis Friday\, March 25\, join us as we pay tribute to Ukraine and their culinary delights. Start searching for recipes\, check out Lincoln’s European grocery stores\, learn how to pronounce the dish you bring.\n\nWe will meet in Fellowship Hall at 5:30 p.m. for our Ukrainian dinner. As always\, there will be a free-will breadbasket offering. Donations will be sent to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for Ukraine.\n\nWhat is “World on a Plate?” It is a program that blends mission\, stewardship\, and fellowship. One Friday each month\, small groups meet in each other’s homes to share a potluck meal that celebrates another country’s cuisine – the cuisine of a country where a designated PCUSA missionary is serving.\n\nOne participant tells the story of the missionary’s work during the meal\, and a free-will offering is taken following the meal and sent to further the mission. Every few months\, the groups are scrambled to encourage new friendships.

We are returning to that series. \nIt is based on the book Body and Sou; Reclaiming the Heidelberg Catechism by M. Craig Barnes\, President of Princeton Theological Seminary.  The catechism is a deeply personal statement of faith with surprisingly contemporary guidance for Christians today.  Pastor Jimmy will lead the class.

We are returning to that series. \nIt is based on the book Body and Sou; Reclaiming the Heidelberg Catechism by M. Craig Barnes\, President of Princeton Theological Seminary.  The catechism is a deeply personal statement of faith with surprisingly contemporary guidance for Christians today.  Pastor Jimmy will lead the class.

DESCRIPTION:Ash Wednesday Service\, 7:00pm\, Wednesday\, March 2\n\n\n\n“I first remember attending an Ash Wednesday service in college at a Presbyterian church. Having ashes smeared on my forehead in the sign of a cross was a powerful experience\, a physical reminder of my own need to turn from sin and toward God’s mercy once again.” ~Pastor Chris\n\n\n\nJoin us this Ash Wednesday in-person or on YouTube for a time to focus on God’s invitation to have our hearts renewed by God’s steadfast love. Our pastors will share a time of imposition of ashes and there will be a ‘self-imposition’ station as well. Our service will be 30-45 minutes.
