DESCRIPTION:History Buffs\nSaturday\, May 11th\, 9:00 to 10:00 at Prairie Pines Nature Preserve\n\nSue Kohles\, Coordinator of Prairie Pines Partners\, will tell the remarkable story of a row crop farm that transitioned to raising Christmas trees and then became Nebraska’s First conservation easement\, to be “protected forever as a place that would provide a pleasant habitat for all beings–plant and animal.”\n\nInterestingly\, a Westminster family was part of this history! Sue’s presentation will include a brief tour of this hidden gem\, and you are welcome to stay for more exploration on your own.
