SUMMARY:Adult Education Forum
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Adult Education Forum                                                                   \nSunday Mornings | Meet in the Fellowship Hall  | 9-10 AM \nFaith and Athletics \nWho isn’t aware of the impact of sports on our community\, state and nation? It’s easy to sense how pride in our state\, or high school\,  rises or falls with the success or disappointment of our sports teams. People of faith are impacted by this phenomenon from the inside and from afar. Let’s explore how faith and sports interact by hearing from some well-known and some local experts. \n  \nAugust 26  | Craig Sundberg grew up at Westminster\, quarterbacked the Huskers in the 1980s and was the MVP of the 1985 Sugar Bowl.

SUMMARY:Ukulele Jam Music Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Upcoming Music Making Opportunities \nGreetings from your music staff! We hope that you find yourself immersed in relaxing\, meaningful\, and joyful activities this summer. Summer can be a great time to explore\, so we have created five opportunities to step out of your comfort zone and experience new ways of participating in worship at Westminster. To join in these events\, simply show up in the sanctuary at 9:30 AM and we will prepare an easy piece of music to be presented at the 10:30 AM worship. All ages and musical experiences welcome for each event\, and we encourage new friends to join in the fun! \n  \nUkulele Jam | Sunday\, August 26 \nYou may have read that Westminster acquired a new set of ukuleles last Spring\, and we want to put them to good use! Join our Alleluia! Amen! director Kaitlyn Beck for an introductory ukulele experience. Children and adults alike are invited to learn a few simple chords to create a beautiful piece of music for worship. If you already own a ukulele\, you are welcome to bring your own\, but we should have plenty to go around to those who are new to the instrument! \n  \n
