SUMMARY:Adult Education Forum
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Adult Education Forum                                                                   \nSunday Mornings | Meet in the Fellowship Hall  | 9-10 AM \nFaith and Athletics \nWho isn’t aware of the impact of sports on our community\, state and nation? It’s easy to sense how pride in our state\, or high school\,  rises or falls with the success or disappointment of our sports teams. People of faith are impacted by this phenomenon from the inside and from afar. Let’s explore how faith and sports interact by hearing from some well-known and some local experts. \n  \nAugust 5  | Chad Cade is a long time softball and baseball coach and leader. He has worked with countless Lincoln players over the years including Alex Gordon (Kansas City Royals). \n  \n

SUMMARY:Women’s Choir Music Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Upcoming Music Making Opportunities \nGreetings from your music staff! We hope that you find yourself immersed in relaxing\, meaningful\, and joyful activities this summer. Summer can be a great time to explore\, so we have created five opportunities to step out of your comfort zone and experience new ways of participating in worship at Westminster. To join in these events\, simply show up in the sanctuary at 9:30 AM and we will prepare an easy piece of music to be presented at the 10:30 AM worship. All ages and musical experiences welcome for each event\, and we encourage new friends to join in the fun! \n  \nWomen’s Choir | Sunday\, August 5 \nWomen and girls of all ages are invited to join in this pick-up choir on the first Sunday in August. We will sing a fun\, easy anthem under the direction of our Associate Director of Music\, Laura Ross. This is a time for generations of women to sing together. \nThis is also a great opportunity to see what a choir rehearsal is like at Westminster and to meet the other volunteers and staff! \n
