Westminster for Children

At Westminster our goal is to reach, teach, and nurture children and young people and adults in the Christian faith and the Presbyterian tradition. Sunday School and education programs for youth and adults alike are important components of this vital mission.

Nursery

Child care for infants and older is provided on Sunday mornings from 7:45 a.m. through noon. The professional nursery staff provides infants with a safe and loving place so parents can take part in worship, adult education, and fellowship activities during Sunday mornings at Westminster.

Preschool on Sundays

Story Time – Sunday at 9 a.m. Children ages 3-5 will hear a Bible story, participate in an activity, and have time for community building through play.

Sunday School – 10:45 a.m. from Sept.-May. Bible stories are about God’s love and God’s creation.

Preschool on Weekdays

Westminster Preschool offers preschool and extended day care for children ages 3-5. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Faith Village (Kindergarten-5th grade)

Classes meet each Sunday at 9 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. Sept.-May.

Faith Village always opens with songs, an offering and prayer. Visitors are welcome.

Summer Sunday School (4 yrs-5th grade)

Classes meet June-Aug. at 10:45 a.m. only (no 9 a.m. Sunday School during the summer).

Vacation Bible School (3 yrs-5th grade)

Late June from 9 a.m.-noon.

Volunteers are being recruited to shepherd children, lead workshops, provide snacks, decorate, and more. Please call or email if you are available. Many hands make light work!

Creative Arts Camp (Kindergarten-5th grade)

Mid-July from 9 a.m.-noon.

Children participate in a variety of arts & crafts, fun singing & music games, joyful dance & movement, creating a mini-drama, and fun SNACKS!
