The Village Voice

Faith
Village

(9:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.)

Faith Villagers begin each morning with a few songs and a chance to thank God for our blessings with an offering. Offering envelopes are available in Faith Village for children to take home. Parents are encouraged to help their children make this a regular part of their Sunday morning routine. After a large group time, children are divided into age groups and head off to workshops which all center around a common theme.

November: The Widow's Coins
Memory Verse: But she is very poor and gave everything she had. Now she doesn't have a cent to live on.
                                (Mark 12:44)

In giving all that she had, the widow had no one left to rely on but God. Those of us who are comfortable sometimes forget to rely on God and begin to think that we rely on ourselves; but all that we have comes from God. We are stewards of the gifts God has given us to use for God's purposes. These purposes include justice, equity, and provision for all.

Preschool Sunday School:
New!  9:00 a.m.
Preschool Bible Story Time!

Preschoolers can come to the Kindergarten of Eden 9:00-10:00 a.m. for  Bible Stories, play time, crafts and more.

10:45 a.m. November
Preschoolers will explore God's call to leadership through stories, crafts, songs and play. Children will learn about two major prophets. How are Jeremiah and Isaiah called by God? How do they proclaim God's message to God's people?

Jeremiah thinks he is too young to be a prophet but God knows otherwise and calls him anyway.

Isaiah sees the splendor of the Lord and is called to deliver a message.
