Presbyterian Women
1. Our Mission Sewers have donated many items to Cedars Services for Children, Lancaster Manor and the American Red Cross.

2. Materials used include donated cotton fabrics and thread for the children's items, quilts and pillows for the American Red Cross.  Other types of fabrics are turned into colorful lap robes for residents at Lancaster Manor.

3. Church members can help us by donating fabrics and thread. IF YOU ARE CLEANING OUT DRAWERS AND FIND SEWING ITEMS YOU DO NOT INTEND TO USE, PLEASE SHARE WITH US!  Please bring the items to the church office, marked for PW Mission Sewers.

Our sincere thanks are extended to Jane Grabenstein-Chandler for creating a beautiful quilt to be donated to Calvin Crest for the annual Barbeque and Quilt Auction.  Jane's donation of the lovely quilt continues a tradition of Westminster PW members participating in this special fund raising event for Calvin Crest.
18th Annual
Paint-A-Thon

The Ministry of Outreach is looking for volunteers to help paint a house on
Saturday, August 9th for the 18th Annual Paint-A-Thon.  Westminster has participated in the past and we are looking to form a team again to celebrate the good work thousands of volunteers have done for this community.

The Lincoln Paint-A-Thon hopes to paint an additional 40 homes this year. We can use volunteers to form a Westminster team for this great mission project. It requires only a few hours of your time. If you are interested in volunteering or would like to provide financial support, contact Bob Michaud at bmich4@neb.rr.com or 423-7046.
If You or a Family Member
are Hospitalized…

Hospitals do not contact us when members are hospitalized because of privacy laws. If you or a family member are to be hospitalized, please notify the church as soon as possible so that the pastors are made aware of your need.
